Cacao Nibs
The cacao nibs came quickly and they have worked well for the home projects (chocolate liqueur) I'm using them for. Plus I've thrown just a splash every now and again into my drip pot to add a wee touch of chocolate to my morning coffee. Definitely a little goes a long way, though. Regardless, Piping Rock is awesome and I'll gladly use them again!!The cacao nibs came quickly and they have worked well for the home projects (chocolate liqueur) I'm using them for. Great quality, impressive pricing. I’m quite enamored with the aroma of the partial fermentation. It goes great in a parfait. I like to roast them at 325°F for about 8-10 minutes and make a tea with dash of cinnamon and a pinch of cardamom. Don’t try putting them in a coffee grinder though. Apparently roasted cacao nibs have a lot more oil than coffee beans, and it makes more of a paste than a powder which doesn’t brew very well.
